Rustonka changed owner
At the end of May, the sale of the administrative center Rustonka in Karlín in Prague was completed. The new owners are White Star Real Estate and the Korean financial group Hana. This transaction is one of the biggest transactions on the real estate market this year.
This successful office complex near the Invalidovna metro station comprises three buildings with a lettable area of 37,000 m². The buildings were completed in stages between 2017 and 2019. Tenants are predominantly well-established international companies, the largest being Amazon. The complex also includes restaurants, shops and services. “Tenants can use the SpaceFlow community platform to make everyone aware of the news, innovations and operational improvements not only in the building complex, but also in the surrounding area. Through this application, employees could even arrange lunch or a ride to work,” said Václav Bouček, Sales Director.
The flourish with which the successfully sold complex will be finished is the installation of Jiří Příhoda's artwork mPod - a housing module for Mars that will find its place on the piazetta between the buildings by the end of this summer. “An aluminum alloy spiral structure, part of which is a rotating tube, rotates around its own axis. One second represents one degree, so the sculpture completes a full three hundred and sixty degree rotation in exactly six minutes, ” Bouček said.
The decision not to publish the sale price of Rustonka complex was taken in order to protect our business confidentiality.
