The new headquarters of J&T Bank is already taking shape
Directly opposite the Invalidovna metro station in Karlín, Prague, the new headquarters of J&T Bank has already begun to emerge. CMC Architects is behind the design of the modern building in which employees will work from 2020.
"Moving the J&T Bank headquarters to Rustonka is proof that J&T believes in the rapidly developing Prague 8 location," says Jiří Ochetz, Marketing Director at J&T REAL ESTATE CZ. The main reason behind the decision to move is that the need for larger offices for the fast-growing organisation.
The new building will also provide plenty of room for corporate events, training as well as client meetings. In addition to a closeable amphitheatre that can hold up to 300 people, the building also offers a rooftop terrace overlooking Hradčany – a unique location to hold client banquets. In addition, the building will also include an 86-seat café, including 33 seats in the VIP section. There will also be a vault and safe-deposit box facility in the building where clients can store paintings or other works of art. The building's staircase is decorated with the bank’s own art collection.
"Because a comfortable work environment is often more important to employees today than some other benefits, there will be a gym and bicycle-storage facility in the building, a carwash in the underground car park and approximately 30 electric chargers for electric cars," Ochetz adds.
