Rohan Gate will be constructed on a plot near the Invalidovna metro station, in a gap site adjacent to the J&T Bank building, completing the street frontage along Sokolovská Street. The Karlín district, where the building will rise, has long been historically connected to the Vltava River. Its banks once hosted shipyards whose production served rivers across Europe. The architectural design of Rohan Gate, by Karel Mrázek of KAAMA studio, therefore deliberately echoes the shape of a ship.

Companies establishing their presence here will gain a prestigious address with excellent accessibility in a dynamically evolving urban area. The development will not make full use of the plot’s maximum capacity as permitted by the zoning plan—green relaxation zones are planned on both sides of the building. These landscaped areas with water features will offer space to unwind not only for employees but also for the general public.

The building’s open ground floor will also feature a piazzetta with a fountain, tiered seating, and a café. These will be complemented by additional shops and services. Rohan Gate is aiming for LEED GOLD certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), confirming the project’s high standards in energy efficiency, sustainability, and its positive impact on both occupant health and the environment.
