New urban impetus in the heart of the Moravian metropolis
A sophisticated and aesthetic urban project that will create a space for living and working on an area of almost four hectares and set a new standard of urban life in the centre of Brno. The Southern Quarter will soon start to thrive.

Brno is on the verge of seeing a large section of the city, known as Jižní centrum (South Centre), dramatically transform for the better. This revitalized location in the heart of the largest city in Moravia will present the city and its inhabitants with new opportunities and fresh energy. An urban development study of the first 50 hectares of land was prepared by the Office of the City Architect of Brno (KAM) together with architects from the Brno based Burian-Křivinka studio.
Mark Johnson, a renowned American urban designer and landscape architect, whose team has experience in delivering similar projects around the world, also participated in the plan. An important factor, which the study reflects, is the construction of modern apartments for the city. According to the City Architect’s office plans, several thousand new residents will live in this area. The new and vibrant section of the city centre will offer a number of job opportunities, as well as cultural and recreational facilities in the future.
Part of the substantial South Centre district is our piece of land. Four hectares in size, located between the streets Opuštěná and Trnitá and the future Central Boulevard.
Diverse construction comprising of mostly apartments, green spaces, offices, and public buildings in a sophisticated urban project will bring a new aesthetic to the city centre.
